Bishop Zarama will be presiding at Mass at 4:30pm to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the parish and the 25th anniversary of Father Arul's ordination. The Bishop will also be installing Father Arul as pastor of Good Shepherd.
The Rite of Election will be celebrated for the catechumens of the Diocese of Raleigh on the first Sunday of Lent. The Rite will be centered on the transition of the catechumens, those being prepared for baptism, confirmation and first Eucharist, into the elect.
Bishop Zarama will be celebrating the 8:00pm Spanish Mass on Christmas Eve, the Midnight Mass and 10:00am English Masses at the Cathedral on Christmas Day. The Wedding Anniversary Mass, typically celebrated each year in October, honors those celebrating wedding anniversaries, with special recognition to couples with 25, 50, or 60 years of marriage.
The Mass will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh.
