Begin National Black Catholic History Month with the diocesan AAMEN leadership team in “A Conversation with Fr. A. Gerard Jordan about the Ministry and Evangelization of African Ancestry Catholics.”
Catholic Filipino Ministry and Evangelization will celebrate the canonization of our second Filipino saint, San Pedro Calungsod, and his companion martyrs. Principal celebrant and homilist is Father Randy Gonzalez, CICM. Let's be proud and wear our traditional Filipino attire. (Face masks will be required of all attendees.)
The Office of Child and Youth Protection will host a training in recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect. This is the safe environment training that is required for all clergy, employees and those in leadership positions with children and youth. Este programa, acerca de un ambiente seguro, es requerido para todo el clero, los empleados y aquellos en cargos de liderazgo que trabajan con niños y jóvenes. Esta capacitación es tanto para aquellos que la hacen por primera vez, como para los que necesitan la actualización de los 5 años.
