NC Catholics NOW

It’s mid-September, and nearly 9,000 students are back to school in 29 Diocese of Raleigh Catholic schools. For some, it’s in-person learning. For others, it’s a hybrid situation. For all in elementary, middle and high school, the option for remote learning is available. NC Catholics NOW introduces you to two families – one that’s back in the classroom and one that’s learning from home. “Catholic schools in the Diocese of Raleigh are continually striving to offer the best academic experience to all our students, especially given the unorthodox times we find ourselves facing,” says Lytia Reese, superintendent. “Principals, teachers, and staff members have worked very hard to prepare academic environments that nurture our students’ faith and accommodate their choice.”
