Join us for the second annual sacred art & music fundraiser, May Perpetual Light Shine Upon Them. Taking place on Friday, November 18th at St. Luke the Evangelist, the evening will feature Gabriel Fauré's Requiem performed by an ensemble of professional musicians and vocalists and a performance by Lyric, the renowned Our Lady of Lourdes children's choir. During intermission, there will be plenty of time for fellowship over catered hors d'oeuvres and refreshments as patrons browse an extensive silent auction of sacred art and crafts.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary in Raeford will host a training in recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect. This is the safe environment training that is required for all clergy, employees and those in leadership positions with children and youth. This session is for either initial safe environment training or for those needing the 5-year renewal. Register upon arrival.

Explore the ancient teaching of the Church on how the gifts, or charisms, of the Holy Spirit work in your life and in the life of your parish. During the Called & Gifted Workshop, the first step in a three-part gifts discernment process developed by the Catherine of Siena Institute, you will learn the signs and characteristics of the most common charisms of the Holy Spirit.

We are back and preparing for our 22nd Polish Festival! The event begins at 11am with a main food booth. The plate includes: kielbasa, pierogi, and stuffed cabbage. Sausauge dogs with peppers and onions, pierogis and potato pancakes are available. The Stans Baltic Porter and domestic beers are available. The Bake Shoppe will have lots of nut rolls, cookies and assorted desserts. A tour of the church will be at 1pm. The Harbour Towne Fest Band will perform, and there will be a dance floor for all who love to polka! No admission fee and free parking.

Please join us as our parishioner Rowena Crist educates women and couples on the truth about a woman’s body and the gift of her fertility from the scientific point of view. Rowena is a wife and mother of six beautiful young women, a former high school religion and psychology teacher, a physician assistant, and a trained FertilityCare practitioner, medical consultant and FACTS speaker.
