Guatemalan Student Support Group and the Children of God Ministry will celebrate Guatemala Independence Day in Fallon Hall at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Raleigh, NC. This fundraising event on September 15 (a Sunday night) will feature Guatemalan food, entertainment, and silent auction.

We're back! The 21st Annual Polish Festival will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 4849 Castle Hayne Rd., Castle Hayne, NC. The Chardon Polka Band from Ohio will again play polka music; plenty of room to dance and enjoy authentic Polish foods from the main food booth, sausage dogs, pierogi, and potato pancakes. Lots of homemade desserts as well! Front Street Brewery will have our famous St. Stans Baltic Porter. Lots of vendors and free activities for the kids. Free parking on church grounds. St. Raphael Catholic Church in Raleigh will be hosting a training session on the topic of Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect. Training will be held in the Lewis Room located in the Parish Office and Meeting Room building, 5801 Falls of Neuse Road. Parking and the main entrance is located in the back of the campus. Please do not park on the Falls of Neuse side of the campus. This Safe Environment Training is required of all clergy, employees, and those in leadership positions with children and youth.
