Team Training for Search 196 is scheduled for Feb. 4-6. The cost to attend is free. All expenses are paid by the Diocese of Raleigh. Team training will be held partially in our home in Wake Forest as well as at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Participants will spend a great deal of time writing their witness talks as well as learning how to lead others into a deeper relationship with Christ as team members. This is where the grace of the Holy Spirit is poured out and into our youth as they grow in their own faith. It is truly beautiful to witness!
High School youth grades 10 through 12 can attend a Search Retreat weekend. Youth decide to participate in Search for various reasons, some out of curiosity or to experience something different, others to spend time with their friends or to meet other Catholics their own age. Some come to Search with a strong faith life while others question the existence of God. Whatever your reason for attending a Search weekend, we welcome you and invite you into what can be a life changing experience.
Come and join us Feb. 6 at St. Mary Church in Goldsboro and celebrate the diversity of our Church! There will be food, music and entertainment beginning at 2:30 p.m. Bring your favorite cultural dish to share. We hope to see you there! For more information, contact Mrs. Anne Yurksaitis, 919-734-5033.
