These leadership meetings help local leaders stay informed about national trends. These safe environment leadership meetings also help create new tools that are needed for the work of enhancing local safe environment efforts.

As the tragedy of war envelops Ukraine, we are each searching for ways to support those who’ve lost their loved ones, home, way of life and country. One thing we can certainly do as a St. Raphael community is pray. On Tuesday, March 29, we will hold a bilingual Mass for Ukraine at 7 pm in place of the regularly scheduled English language daily Mass. Come pray, and consider joining us following the Mass to share stories and ideas on how to respond.
At the Foundation of the Catholic Diocese of Raleigh, we are continually looking for ways to assist and collaborate with our parishioners in their stewardship and development efforts. As a way to help educate parishioners in their knowledge as faithful stewards of the Lord’s gifts, we will be offering an online estate planning webinar.
Hosted by the Most Reverend Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama and the Catholic Charities Board of Directors, the 10th Annual Catholic Charities Gala will take place on Saturday, April 30. The event will be hosted at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley. The evening will include a reception, dinner, remarks, silent auction, raffle, and live music and dancing.
Bishop Zarama will celebrate Mass for the feast day of St. Josemaria Escriva at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral at 11:00am.
The Diocesan Marriage Preparation One Day Workshop presents topics that deal with important issues regarding marriage. These Marriage Preparation workshops are designed for couples to attend together. The experience of sexual abuse can reach every level of our being and leave us feeling distant from ourselves and even God. You are invited to come together with other women for a weekend experience of reflection and inspiration to help you reconnect with your deepest self and the God who loves all of you.
