Father Sutter’s talks are based on Fulton Sheen’s book “The Cross and the Beatitudes,” Sacred Scripture and real life stories.

Sixteen faithful of the Diocese of Raleigh, who have been honored by Pope Francis for their extraordinary service to the Catholic Church and the Holy See, will receive medals at a ceremony Feb. 12 within the context of Evening Prayer at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral. The honorees were nominated in writing by Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama as part of the centennial celebration of the Diocese of Raleigh in 2024.

The agenda includes an overview of the USCCB annual report, a new background check update schedule, and efforts to get all volunteers and other personnel entered into the new database by March 2025. This helps us maintain compliance with the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People (USCCB 2002 as revised).
