This is a youth gathering of eight parishes in the Diocese of Raleigh under the Missionaries of Missionhurst-CICM. It will be a day of fun, teachings, group games, worship and fellowship. This year theme is Fearless, based from John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary is hosting the Miracles of the Eucharist Exhibit, an international display created by Saint Carlo Acutis. The exhibit features Eucharistic miracles from around the world, many verified by science, and invites visitors to encounter Christ’s Real Presence in the Eucharist. Open to all ages, the display is bilingual (English & Spanish) and free to attend through Sunday, October 12, at the St. Michael Parish Center, 800 High House Road, Cary.

Join us in welcoming Vatican guest Dr. Tebaldo Vinciguerra for a special reflection titled “10 Years After Laudato Si’.” The event will take place on Thursday, October 30, at the UNC Newman Activity Center, located at 214 Pittsboro Street, Chapel Hill, NC. Free parking is available behind the building. The evening will begin with a presentation and Q&A from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m., followed by a reception at 8:15 p.m.
The Raleigh Diocese Catholic Committee on Scouting will be hosting their quarterly meeting of all interested Boy Scout, Girl Scout, Crew, and Pack leaders to discuss issues related to Scouting in the Catholic Church, Religious Emblems & Awards, and planning for the annual Catholic Camporee (which takes place each March). All uniformed unit/district/council leaders, committee members, and those interested are invited and welcome to attend.
