The deacon candidates will gather at The Catholic Center in Raleigh for Morning Prayer and Mass before attending their monthly deacon formation class on American and North Carolina Church History with instructors: Fr. James F. Garneau and Msgr. G. Lewis.

St. Mary Magdalene Parish in Apex will host a training in recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect. The session will take place Thursday, May 23, at 6:30pm. This is the safe environment training that is required for all clergy, employees and those in leadership positions with children and youth. Parents are welcome to attend!
