Who influenced / inspired you to priesthood? My parish priest, Fr. Edisson inspired a big part on my vocation. He would always tell me to open my heart and let the Lord in. He would also tell me not to worry about anything because the Lord takes care of everything. My parents are a big part of my vocation, they encouraged me to keep going, even if it isn’t for me they are always there to support me and lift me when I am feeling down.

What would you say to a young man who thinks he may have a vocation? Pray. But don’t pray for God to hear you, instead pray so YOU can hear God and obey on what He wants you to do. If you don’t pray then you won’t know the path God wants for you. Every vocation requires praying. Only God knows what is best for you and you have to discern it to know it. Also don’t separate yourself from God, stay in His grace, don’t let the world talk you out of your vocation.

Favorite Scripture Passages: John 3:16 It shows how much God loves every single one of us. John 11:35 it tells us that even the Son of God wept. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 tells us how love is supposed to be, how everyone should love.
