What if a child’s school could be more than a place to learn? What if it could be a place where a young person discovers that they are known, loved, and created for a purpose by God?
In our Catholic schools, faith is not something added to the day. It is at the heart of the day. It is in the classroom, where a teacher sees more than a student’s potential, but the person God created them to be.
It is in Mass, where a young heart learns to pray. It is in moments of friendship, service, forgiveness, and compassion, where students begin to understand what it means to live as disciples of Christ. And it is in the Eucharist, where they encounter Jesus Himself.
Because we are not simply preparing children for their future. We are preparing them for a life with Christ. And when a child learns to know Jesus, love Jesus, and follow Jesus, that faith has the power to reach a family, a parish, and generations to come.
This is the impact of the Bishop’s Annual Appeal. Together, we are helping bring the next generation to Christ, and ultimately, to the Eucharist.
