Hours per Week: 15 hours per week (Two days per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Accept and actively support the mission of Saint Raphael Catholic School as articulated at the diocesan and school level
- Model and integrate virtues and values that support schoolwide core values of reverence, service, and leadership
- Serve as a compassionate healthcare professional who promotes the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of students and staff
- Coordinate and oversee daily health services for students and staff
- Develop and implement plans of care based on assessment, interventions, and evaluation of outcomes
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and diocesan health requirements
- Monitor immunizations, manage communicable diseases, and assess the school environment to promote student safety and wellness
- Oversee medication administration, healthcare procedures, and individualized healthcare plans
- Coordinate vision, hearing, body mass index, and other required health screenings
- Serve as a consultant and resource for faculty, staff, coaches, counselors, and administration regarding student health concerns
- Provide health-related education and guidance to students, staff, and families as appropriate
- Assist families in accessing healthcare resources and community services when needed
- Support infection prevention and control measures throughout the school
- Actively participate in school safety planning, emergency preparedness, and crisis response efforts
- Maintain positive, professional, and collaborative relationships with students, families, faculty, staff, and administration
- Contribute to a positive Catholic school culture rooted in service, compassion, collaboration, and continuous growth
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Employment is contingent upon the applicant passing a full background check and completing Diocesan sponsored Safe Environment Training.
Preferred:
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church, committed to supporting and upholding the mission and teachings of Catholic education.
- 3 or more years of nursing experience preferred in the area of Pediatric, school, community, or family health nursing.
