RALEIGH — Responding to the call of Christ to nurture life, Greensboro-based, Room At The Inn, Inc. continues its mission to serve some of North Carolina’s most vulnerable families by providing housing and support programs for single, pregnant women and mothers experiencing homelessness. The organization offers a comprehensive approach that extends beyond pregnancy, walking alongside mothers before and after their children’s births. Through safe housing, life-skills development, and community support, Room At The Inn helps women build stable, healthy, and hope-filled futures for themselves and their families. Guided by core values that uphold the dignity of both mother and child, born and unborn, the ministry emphasizes a preferential option for the poor, collaboration with families and communities, and a commitment to best practices in care.
As part of its ongoing efforts, Room At The Inn is preparing for its annual fundraising banquet this October. The event will celebrate the organization’s impact and look ahead to future needs. Featured guest speaker Matt Fradd, a Catholic author, speaker, and host of the widely followed “Pints with Aquinas” podcast, will offer reflections on faith, family, and the dignity of human life. Fradd is known for his engaging style and thoughtful approach to evangelization, frequently addressing topics such as relationships, virtue, and the challenges facing modern families. His recent work with The Daily Wire has further expanded his reach to a broader audience.
The banquet is free to attend, though participants are invited to support the ministry through donations or volunteer commitments. As the organization’s largest annual fundraiser, the event plays a vital role in sustaining its maternity shelter and year-round programming.
