Position Summary:

St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School is seeking a caring, responsible and energetic individual to serve as an After School Care Assistant, approximately 12-13 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 3:30PM-6:00PM.  This position supports the safe supervision and engagement of students in our after-care program for grades K-8th.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervision of students during indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Supporting homework time and enrichment activities.
  • Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum level of Education: High School
  • Previous experience working with children required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, flexible and team oriented.
  • Commitment to upholding the mission and values of a Catholic school.
  • CPR/First Aid certified.
  • Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks
  • Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of childcare experience.
