Key responsibilities:
- Model and integrate virtues and values that support schoolwide core values of reverence, service, and leadership.
- Support the classroom teacher in instructional delivery and lesson execution in a Kindergarten through Grade 2 setting.
- Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce instruction and support skill development.
- Assist in implementing differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Help maintain a structured, orderly, and joyful classroom environment aligned with school expectations.
- Assist with classroom preparation and clerical tasks, including copying, organizing materials, and maintaining bulletin boards.
- Support the intentional and appropriate use of instructional technology as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Fulfill schoolwide student supervisory duties as assigned (e.g., lunch duty, recess duty, transitions).
- Exhibit a strong sense of personal accountability and support high expectations for student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
- Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
- Collaborate effectively with the classroom teacher and colleagues, contributing to a positive and professional team culture.
- Model and actively live the teachings of the Catholic Church, serving as a visible witness of the faith in word and action.
- Support and contribute to the Catholic identity and spiritual life of the school community.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, Elementary Education, or related field
- 3 or more years of relevant work experience related to Education/Teaching
