Annual Celebration of the Legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
All are invited to the Diocese of Raleigh’s annual Celebration Mass honoring the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 12–1:30 PM at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral.
This year’s theme is Mission Possible II: Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Nonviolent Way.
The Mass will be celebrated by Very Rev. Michael Burbeck, Vicar General, with the homily offered by Rev. Kareem Smith, Pastor, Blessed Sacrament, New Rochelle, NY and President of the National Black Catholic Clergy Caucus.
As part of our service project, please bring unopened disposable diapers to support Catholic Charities.
This event is open to the public. All are welcome!
