Pilgrimage of Hope for Creation offered to the Diocese of Raleigh: As Catholics, we are celebrating a Jubilee year and the 800th anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi's Canticle of the Creatures. This is a sacred opportunity to pray for the grace to encounter Christ in Creation and renew our relationships with God, the Earth, and one another. Join fellow Catholics for a 'Pilgrimage of Hope for Creation – with optional Jubilee plenary indulgence.'
Perform this Pilgrimage on your own with the materials below. Or attend the in-person pilgrimage on the grounds and interior of Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral on Oct. 11. We meet for prayers, reflection and action from 3:45 p.m. until 4:55 p.m., in time to attend 5 p.m. Mass. Hosted by NC Catholics Caring for our Common Home. For more details about the in-person pilgrimage, email Monica at: mitzkleimeyer@nccommonhome.org.
