The African Ancestry communities in the Diocese of Raleigh joyfully celebrate Jubilee 2025!
Join Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama as celebrant for the Annual Diocesan African Heritage Mass and Celebration in honor of Jubilee Year 2025: Pilgrims of Hope. Reverend Marcos Leon-Angulo, pastor of Saint Bernadette in Butner, NC, and diocesan chaplain for the African American community, will serve as homilist.
This vibrant liturgy celebrates the rich faith traditions of the African American, Francophone, Igbo, and Swahili Catholic communities—each an integral part of the Diocesan African Ancestry Ministry & Evangelization Network (AAMEN) and Native American Office programs.
All are joyfully welcome to join us!
