Rooted in Prayer: A Women's Retreat

Join us for a grace-filled weekend of reflection, creativity, and connection as we explore our identity in Christ and the healing power of prayer and art at “Rooted in Prayer: A Women’s Retreat.” All women of any age are welcomed. Whether you’re navigating grief, carrying a cross, or simply longing to be renewed, this prayer retreat is for you. The retreat will be facilitated by Lily of the Valley Catholic Ministry with keynote speakers and workshops led by Katie Weiss, founder of Behold Visio, and Nicky Verna, M.Th., a Catholic retreat speaker and SoulCore instructor. Workshops will include Soulcore, Stations of the Cross, Visio Divina, Lectio Divina, watercolor painting with scripture, and more! The retreat will include time for Mass, Eucharistic adoration, veneration of 55+ relics, including a piece of the true cross, reconciliation, and other creative opportunities for prayer enrichment.

Of note: You do not have to be a ministry member or have been served by the ministry to participate in the retreat.

Suggested donation: Lily of the Valley is a Catholic Non Profit Ministry (501c3). We work diligently to reduce the costs of the retreat to include receiving a Human Life and Dignity Grant through the Diocese of Raleigh, supported by the BAA. To cover the cost of catered food and day of materials we are asking for the following suggested donation with registration.

Option 2: Saturday only ($60)
*Friday only is not an option.
