Position Summary:

The Communications Coordinator position at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church manages print and digital communications to an active parish of about 700 households coordinating with a nine-member staff and parish ministry leaders. 

Additionally, this role has the opportunity to work remotely from a home office.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Receive information and publish in our weekly bulletin from emails, staff and research
  • Prepare weekly Bulletin using graphic software, preferably In Design
  • Keep Parish Website up to date
  • Send Parish Communications via Flock Note
  • Design, Print, and Post posters and flyers for Parish Events

Minimum Requirements:

  • Some office experience, including but not limited to communications director/assistant, program/department assistant is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Graphic Design Software.
  • Website and Digital Communication experience
  • Able to work with deadlines
  • Good communication skills, and flexible schedule.
  • Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks
  • Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training within 30 days of hire.
