What is World Youth Day?
World Youth Day (WYD) is a global celebration of faith that gathers young people from around the world with the Holy Father for prayer, catechesis, and a joyful encounter. Open to youth ages 16 and older, WYD offers an extraordinary opportunity to experience the universality of the Catholic Church, deepen your relationship with Christ, and join hundreds of thousands of peers in vibrant witness. The next World Youth Day will take place in Seoul, South Korea, August 3-8, 2027.
