The Diocesan Tribunal Office of Raleigh has been visiting the various deaneries of the diocese with the purpose of presenting the ministry and services we provide throughout the diocese. These visits aim to promote greater collaboration with the presbyterate in offering more pastoral care and assistance to our faithful in matters related to marriage nullity cases.
An additional goal of these visits is to identify and encourage potential interviewers who can assist locally, thereby helping to reduce distances between the parishes and the Tribunal Office and to facilitate the process for petitioners.
On November 4, the Tribunal staff visited the Fayetteville Deanery, where we presented an overview of the Tribunal’s mission and services, provided an explanation of the nature of marriage according to the Church’s understanding, and discussed the various grounds for marriage nullity.
These encounters continue to strengthen the pastoral outreach and collaboration between the diocesan offices and the local clergy in serving the people of God with justice, compassion, and understanding.
