It was a very special Valentine’s Day as nearly 200 grandparents and “grandfriends” from across the county and other states enjoyed a day with their grandchildren who are students at St. Egbert Catholic School.
The day started with Mass at St. Egbert Catholic Church and included a delicious lunch sponsored by the St. Egbert Home and School Association, a song by kindergarten and 3rd grade students, photo opportunities and shopping for books and school supplies at the Annual Book Fair.
Everyone in attendance had a wonderful day filled with laughter, good food and lots of love.
One grandparent said, “It’s such a wonderful experience to join our grandchildren on this special day. It’s a very lovely occasion, and we look forward to it every year.”
