This week a grand jury report was issued in Pennsylvania that cited the names of 301 clergy with credible allegations against them. Fr. William Presley and Fr. Robert Spangenberg were listed among those who have been reported for abusing a child and the reports were found to be true. Fr. William Presley served in the Diocese of Raleigh in Kinston from 1981 to 1983. Fr. Robert Spangenberg served in the Diocese of Raleigh at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Newton Grove and Immaculate Conception in Clinton from 1977 to 1979.
