“Our Worldwide Marriage Encounter Experience helped us fully realize the gift and power of our sacramental marriage,” said Chris and Cara Forrest. “The tools we learned on our weekend have increased our intimacy and connection, and we continue using them to this day!”

For more than 50 years, Worldwide Marriage Encounter has helped over 3.5 million couples in almost 100 countries unlock the power of their relationships with new ways to do the “I do.”

Worldwide Marriage Encounter, the largest faith-based marriage enrichment organization in the world, have enriched and transformed the lives of married couples and priests for generations. They offer a peer-to-peer experience, typically over a weekend, where married couples and priests can pause and reflect privately on the meaning of their vocations and are given the tools for nurturing their love. Our mission is to proclaim the value of marriage and holy orders in the Church and in the world.

“We are more deeply in love now, after almost 12 years of marriage, than we were on our wedding day,” said Mr. and Mrs. Forrest, parishioners of St. Andrew the Apostle church in Apex. “Additionally, the WWME community has been a precious gift to our marriage and our whole family. Their abundant love lifts us up and sustains us. Our WWME experience was truly life changing. Every couple deserves an experience!”

The Marriage Encounter experience helps couples listen, share, and connect more deeply. There’s no group discussion. It’s just between the couple, learning to be the best, most loving and thriving couple you can be.
