My brother priests and I recently gathered to renew our priestly vows and bless the holy oils and sacred chrism used to celebrate the sacraments in our diocese throughout the year. We were reminded that we are called to use the medicine of the Church to help heal and bless the people. During this Holy Week, I pray that each of us will share the healing medicine of Christ’s death and resurrection as we work to help ourselves and others be more grateful for each life entrusted to us as a precious gift from God.
