Advent and Christmas in the Diocese of Raleigh

In the fourth week of Advent, Father Jim Sabak reflects on Mary’s visit to Elizabeth as told in Luke’s Gospel. He says, “What Elizabeth says to Mary, I think she says to all of us, God is found in those promises that God keeps.” As Advent comes to a close Father Sabak reminds us, “There is a God who is for us, a God who is Emmanuel.”
