Reverend Clemente Olvera Guerrero, CP, a member of the Passionist Province of Christ the King, Mexico, is appointed Parochial Vicar at Saint Ann Parish in Clayton.
July 29, 2023
Reverend Kenneth Ujunwa Oguzie, C.S.Sp., a member of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, Zimbabwean Circumscription, is appointed Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Raleigh.

Reverend Brian Vaccaro, C.Ss.R., a member of the Redemptorists, Baltimore Province, is appointed Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Clinton.

Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama expresses his sincere appreciation to the following priests for their generous priestly ministry:
- Reverend Chester S. Artysiewicz, GHM, Administrator of Holy Trinity Parish in Williamston and Holy Spirit Parish in Windsor, concludes his service and returns to his community.
- Reverend Bruce Bavinger, SJ, Parochial Vicar at Saint Raphael Parish in Raleigh, retires from active ministry and has moved to the Murray-Weigel-Kohlmann Jesuit Community in the Bronx.
- Reverend Nikola Derpich, LC, superior of the local community of the Legionaries of Christ, has been reassigned to the territorial directorate in the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

Reverend Boban Madathiparampil, CRM, a member of the Order of Clerics Regular Minor (The Adorno Fathers), will be in residence with sacramental ministry at St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Garner.
Reverend Mannes Matous, OP, a member of the St. Joseph Province of the Order of Preachers assigned to graduate studies at Duke University, will be in residence at Holy Family Parish in Hillsborough.
