The diocese held its 10th annual Deacon Convocation on February 16 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Raleigh. The day began with Morning Prayer, Q&A with Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama and Mass. Addressing the deacons and their wives, Bishop Zarama said, "God is God, and God is love. Put that in your mind, feel it in your heart and make a difference with love; one person at a time."
