Do you need practical advice on new ways to identify new volunteers? Looking for ways to get people to say “Yes” to the invitation to ministry? Looking for answers to these questions? Well look no further, Rich Curran from Parish Success Group will be joining us to share effective practices for identifying and inviting new volunteers to ministry. Rich is a national Catholic speaker and ministry coach who addresses over 50,000 youth and adults each year. He is the Author of We Lack for Nothing: Five Essentials to Grow Your Church and numerous magazine articles and blogs. Rich receives invitations from dioceses, parishes, and schools across the United States and Canada to inspire, teach and train their members. He is a regular presenter at national, regional and diocesan Catholic conferences, school assemblies, parish missions and staff leadership days. He holds masters degrees in both education and pastoral ministry from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota. His wife and best friend, Cortney and their two boys live in Appleton, WI. Kim Kalman, music minster at Holy Redeemer by the Sea in Kitty Hawk will share a spiritual reflection during this session. She is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia, earning her degree in business management while performing in local venues. After careful consideration, Kim chose to apply her business management skills to her own career in the music business. Kim has recorded several CDs: Moonlight, At Last, Close, and A Christmas to Remember along with Christian CDs I’m Not Alone, Let The Door Swing Wide, and I Look To You and At the Foot of the Cross. She's played in venues across the country from the Atlantic City to Nashville to Las Vegas. She has also been named one of the top ten songwriters at the Kerrville Music Festival and Honorable Mention in the Billboard Song Contest.
