Event Description
The Diocese of Raleigh is excited to host TeamRCIA’s Making Disciples Institute for the first time ever in our diocese.
TeamRCIA is a nation-wide provider of resources for RCIA formation. They are on the leading edge of providing resources to parish RCIA programs through their website as well as printed resources in the form of instructional books and weekly curriculum. They also provide a variety of online and in-person training for church ministers and volunteers, through webinars, e-mail courses, downloads, discussion forums, and training events led by experts in the field of initiation ministry.
The Making Disciples Institute is a foundational event for any RCIA team. At this event you and your team will:
Know how the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a powerful conversion process that forms “missionary disciples”
Learn how to apply the core principles of the RCIA across the entire parish to form even more missionary disciples
Acquire the skills to build an evangelizing parish that involves the entire community in calling forth missionary disciples
Know how to recruit and build a thriving RCIA Team that is focused on disciple formation
Identify the steps for doing mystagogical catechesis that leads to conversion of disciples
Gain the confidence you need to take the next steps toward transforming your entire parish into a community of disciples through the work of the RCIA
