Parents of boys and girls ages 9 to 14 - mark your calendars! Youth ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate in the Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge.
Registration: 9:00 a.m.
Start time: 10:00 a.m.
Entry registration forms can be filled out and submitted ahead of time to koccouncil2838@gmail.com or filled out during the registration hour at 9:00 a.m. on Challenge day.
Show off your soccer goal shooting skills! Haven't played before? No worries! We will teach you how to shoot prior to the Challenge!
The Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge is sponsored annually, with winners progressing through local, district, and jurisdictional competitions. International champions are announced by the Knights of Columbus international headquarters in New Haven, CT, based on scores from the jurisdiction-level competitions. All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 are eligible to participate and will compete in their respective age divisions. All contestants on the local level are recognized for their participation in the event. Participants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent.
Today the approximately two million members of the Knights put their faith into action through a broad range of charitable causes locally, nationally and internationally with financial contributions and hands-on service. This Soccer Challenge is just one of the many ways the Knights of Columbus Cardinal Gibbons Council 2838 is here to serve the community! Please park either at the church and proceed north passed the gymnasium down the hill to the soccer field or park in the school parking lot at 1620 Marlborough Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304 and follow the fire lane west to the soccer field. The field is not visible from the church parking, and is partially visible from the school parking lot.
