As part of National Vocations Awareness Week, high school young men from across the Diocese of Raleigh are invited to Cardinal Gibbons High School on Saturday, November 8, for Operation Shepherd. This special day, led by Fr. Marlon Mendieta, Fr. John De Guzman, Fr. Luke Rawicki, along with Gibbons educators and diocesan staff, is an opportunity to:
Connect with other high schoolers
Grow in faith through prayer and reflection
Learn more about the vocation of Holy Orders
Experience fellowship through Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, testimonies, sports, barbecue, and even Knockerball!
Arrival and Departure:
8:30 a.m. – Check-in (Front Lobby)
9 a.m. – Mass (Parents are welcome to attend Mass, and the Parent Discussions will follow directly after.)
Event includes Knockerball and requires it's own waiver. Please fill out prior to November 8.
2 p.m. – Event concludes
Parents: While students are participating in Operation Shepherd, parents are invited to a Vocations Coffee & Discussion at 9 a.m., led by Mrs. Kathleen Kozak.
