He will also celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick within Mass immediately after his homily. This sacrament is only for the chronically ill, those going into surgery soon or undergoing anything with anesthesia, seniors, those with clinical depression or any other emotional or psychological challenges, and those in proximate or approximate danger of death. After Mass, individual blessings will be offered. During a healing Mass and service, we should remain open to the Holy Spirit and invite him into our hearts. Let's remember the words of Psalm 103:2-4: "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the Pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy." Please bring forward your healing intentions or be present to pray for the needs and intentions of others. For questions or information, please contact us at magnificatclaytonnc@gmail.com.
