Preparing for your own funeral and contemplating your final wishes can present you with creative and prayerful opportunities to let go of your fears and anxieties and welcome the Holy Spirit into every present moment. What gospel and other scripture readings mean the most to you? Who are the special people who have gone home to God before you and who support you still? What scares you the most and what brings you the most hope and joy? Using his own colorful art and personal stories, Brother Mickey will guide us through both the comfortable and uncomfortable aspects of contemplating our own deaths. As always, time for a creative prayer activity will be included. Donuts and coffee begin at 9:30.
