Join us in welcoming Vatican guest Dr. Tebaldo Vinciguerra for a special reflection titled “10 Years After Laudato Si’.” The event will take place on Thursday, October 30, at the UNC Newman Activity Center, located at 214 Pittsboro Street, Chapel Hill, NC. Free parking is available behind the building. The evening will begin with a presentation and Q&A from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m., followed by a reception at 8:15 p.m.
Dr. Tebaldo Vinciguerra has served the Holy See since 2011, working on environmental issues through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching. His focus includes mining, energy, agriculture, water, and oceans. He holds degrees in political sciences and international affairs and recently completed a doctorate in economics, concentrating on access to drinking water. He and his wife, Diane, are parents to four children.
