Position Summary:

The Coordinator is to be the first contact for the parish. This includes direct, in-person contact, phone, mail and e-mail, maintenance of all calendars and training and supervision for receptionist volunteers. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Answer phones, direct calls, retrieve messages from voicemail and forwards appropriately. 
  • Keep the parish calendar, presiders’ calendar, narthex calendar, etc.  Work closely with all staff and STM ministries and groups to book campus space for use. Coordinate access when events are scheduled during off hours and program entry though website.
  • Provides translation assistance for office staff, as needed.
  • Recruits, trains, schedules and supervises volunteers to support the downstairs Parish Center reception area.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 1 – 3 years of work experience related to greeting guests, scheduling, administrative support.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks.
  • Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Notary Public.
