Position Summary:
The Financial Services Director provides financial support and information to the parish staff, school staff, Finance Council, Pastoral Council, parish groups/ministries/committees, and the parish-at-large.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide financial oversight to both church and school
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions
- Engage in development activities with parish and school communities to develop capital reserves, special project funding
- Work to ensure financial stability of the community into the future
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related area
- 3- 5 years of work experience in the area of accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, fundraising, or similar field.
- Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks
- Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ParishSoft
- Grant writing experience
- Advanced degree/certificate
Supervises: One full-time and one part-time Financial Associate
