Hours per week: 7.5 hours; Work hours are 7:45am-9:15am. This position can be combined with a teaching assistantship.
Key responsibilities:
- Take accurate attendance for students checking in early, before the start of the regular 9am school day.
- Establish positive relationships with families through on-going communication between school and home.
- Develop effective and respectful working relationships with all colleagues, especially the classroom lead teacher.
Minimum Requirements:
- Employment is contingent on passing a criminal background check and reference check.
- All employees must complete Safe Environment Training.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field is a plus
- Previous experience in early childhood education is preferred
- Strong communication skills.
- Enjoys interacting with children.
