Hours per week: 18 maximum (M-W-F possible Sunday as deemed necessary)
Position Summary:
Assist the pastor in coordinating the sacramental life of the Hispanic community and assist the parish staff with the functions of the parish office.
Key responsibilities:
- Bilingual office assistance.
- Coordinate sacraments & documents with parish staff.
- Coordinate liturgical functions for the Hispanic Mass.
- Create bulletin for the Hispanic Mass.
- Oversight of ministries of the Hispanic community.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of a High School diploma.
- 2 or more years of related work experience in a Parish Office preferable.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks.
- Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understand Office 365, Publisher and other basic software programs.
- Have a basic understanding of Church Sacramental Life.
