Schedule: On-site / Part-Time - 15-20 hours per week
Position Summary:
St. Francis Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about providing a faith-filled educational experience to the children enrolled in our program.
The teacher assistant will support the lead teacher in providing a faith-filled education experience, sharing in the responsibilities for the safety and physical well-being of the children. The assistant teacher will engage children in play and activities that are age and developmentally appropriate.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead teacher with classroom activities and management
- Engage children in age and developmentally appropriate play and activities
Minimum Requirements:
- Exhibits a patient and loving demeanor
- Employment is contingent upon passing a criminal background and reference check; must complete Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a play-based early childhood center.
