Position Summary:
St. Egbert Catholic School is seeking a caring, responsible and energetic individual to serve as an After School Care Teacher, approximately 15 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 2:45 PM-5:30 PM. This position supports the safe supervision and engagement of students in our after-care program for grades PreK-5th.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervision of students during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Supporting homework time and enrichment activities.
- Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum level of Education: High School
- Previous experience working with children required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, flexible and team oriented.
- Commitment to upholding the mission and values of a Catholic school.
- CPR/First Aid certified.
- Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks
- Employment is contingent upon passing a criminal background and reference check; must complete Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of childcare experience.
