Position Summary:
Our Catholic School community is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled middle school English Language Arts teacher to inspire students in grades 6-8 while supporting our mission of academic excellence rooted in Catholic values.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging ELA instruction aligned with state and Diocesan standards.
- Work with grade-level and middle school teams.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
- Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required (English, Education, or related field)
- 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- Valid NC teaching license.
- Professional demeanor reflective of the values and mission of the Diocese of Raleigh.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a criminal background and reference check; must complete Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training upon hire.
