Position Summary:
Assist the lead teachers in creating a classroom environment that is consistent with the mission of the school and the parish provide classroom support to the lead teacher by providing general assistance with daily tasks, planning for lessons, small group assistance, supervision of students, and assistance with special projects, such as field trips.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise students during lunch and recess.
- Collaborate as a member of the team to provide academic excellence for the students.
Minimum Requirements:
- Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks.
- Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training on hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students
