Job Description: The Immigration Assistant is primarily responsible for providing general support to the DOJ Accredited Representatives through a variety of tasks and activities. This person will learn the complete immigration process by assisting in the preparation of documents and applications and engaging in frequent customer/client contact. He/she must project a professional image on behalf of the agency through in-person and phone interaction. Occasional travel to offices throughout the Catholic Charities service area will be required.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of experience; fluent in Spanish & English oral and written communications required; demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide diversity of people from different ethnic backgrounds; excellent, speaking and active listening skills; strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and work under pressure; knowledge of and commitment to Catholic social teachings and practices and the mission of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh; valid NC Driver’s License and a vehicle in working order for business use; authorized to work in the U.S.
