Statement from Raleigh Diocesan Administrator on the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia

I ask all Catholics in the Diocese of Raleigh, as well as our brothers and sisters from other faith traditions, to join in prayer and unity in response to the violent protest and deadly attack in Charlottesville, Virginia. While tensions may rise within communities, we must stand against violence, bigotry and racism.

May Our Lord, Jesus Christ, bring peace over our nation and restore communities fractured by violence and hate.
