Position Summary:
St. Mary Catholic School in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a PE Teacher / Athletic Director to join its team. This position will teach PE Classes, grades PreK through 8th grade and will also serve as the school’s Athletic Director.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver enriching and meaningful PE Lessons for each grade at St. Mary.
- Utilize and coordinate use of PE Equipment as part of daily lessons.
- Assess and grade students on their competency in Physical Education.
- Maintain communication between school and parents.
- Coordinate St. Mary’s athletic programs.
- Collaborate with other EIC coaches and AD’s in planning games, tournaments, and events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Education or Physical Education with NC License.
- 1-5 Years of related work experience education.
- Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks and must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Middle Grades teaching experience
- Basketball Coaching Experience
