Position Summary:
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Raleigh is seeking a Middle School Math Teacher to join St. Ann Catholic School in Fayetteville, NC. The Middle School Math Teacher will educate students from grades 6-8, assessing their performance regularly and maintaining records as needed.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with diocesan curriculum standards.
- Ensure instructional delivery reflects a rigorous academic curriculum.
- Regularly assess student performance and maintain updated student records.
- Supervise students at all times throughout the day.
- Communicate with parents about student progress on a regular basis.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 1-3 years of experience working in an educational setting (or a related employment experience) is required.
- Must be able to provide evidence of your ability to:
- Build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Set and maintain high expectations for all students.
- Think and plan strategically.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A North Carolina teaching license (or equivalent from another state) is preferred.
