Add to Calendar 2020-10-10 09:00:00 2020-10-10 09:00:00 Encountering Jesus-Special Needs Workshop On Saturday, October 10th, The Office of Evangelization and Discipleship and the Collaborative on Special Needs and Disabilities are presenting a Special Needs Workshop for clergy, parish catechetical leaders, youth ministers, catechists, special needs ministry volunteers and parents. Come to learn how to assist special needs students in encountering and growing closer to Christ with creative lesson adaptations.   This day is for all who minister with special needs children and will begin at 9:00 am and conclude by noon.   We look forward to sharing the day with our speaker, Maggie Rousseau, Director of Disabilities Ministry in the Archdiocese of Atlanta.  During the workshop, Maggie will share creative classroom methods, practical formation, a multitude of experiential methods and round table discussions.  Each person who attends will leave with a plethora of resources.  The keynote and presentations by Maggie will be in English and there will be breakout sessions in both English and Spanish All are welcome!
